Los Angeles-based designer/boutique Mr. Completely and up-and-coming designer Eric Lawrence teamed up earlier this year on a limited capsule inspired by the work of experimental filmmaker Kenneth Anger.
Reflecting Lawrence’s pull, the collaboration was celebrated with a fête at new York hot-spot Never Never, an event attended by who’s-who list of cool kids, including Sarah Snyder, Molly Bair, Harleth Kuusik, Tyler Blue Golden, Walter Pearce and Tyler Mitchell, among others.
The 23-year-old Lawrence cut his teeth in fashion working with Matthew Williamson as an intern, a position that evolved into work as a stylist. A big fan of Anger’s work, he designed a small tribute collection of vintage t-shirts emblazoned with an “anger” logo he sold through his Instagram account, an effort that lead to the capsule with Mr. Completely.
The 10-piece collection of Mr. Completely and Eric Lawrence t-shirts, hockey jerseys, hoodies, joggers and denim emblazoned with a sporty “anger” logo is now available at mrcompletelystore.com.
