In advance of the roll out of its fall line, Supreme has released a film filled in the farmlands of America. The short shows an individual walking through corn fields and as the camera pulls back a giant Supreme logo box logo made from shorn crops is revealed. Supreme is well known for its city skate videos so this video is quite the departure.
The visual brings to mind crop-formation patterns, which are viewed with some controversy. Some view the patterns as messages from aliens though there is no evidence they’ve been made by anyone other than mischievous humans.
Supreme hasn’t provided a reason for the film though Reddit users weighed in with jokes. One user guessed the video was foreshadowing a John Deere collaboration, while another called it “corny.” (It looks like wheat though.)
Did Supreme an actual crop circle box logo or did the film make use of special effects? Either way, very dope.
At the same time @dropsbyjay annnounnced on social media that Supreme will reveal it fall 2018 lookbook tomorrow, which will include 200 new items.
