Supreme‘s week No. 15 drop is very much dominated by the brand’s collaboration with The North Face, which is make up of two jackets, a crewneck sweatshirt, t-shirt, caps and blanket.
Pricing is as follows: puffer: $498; parka $398; crewneck: $128; t-Shirt: $54; hat: $54; backpack: $168
and blanket: $348.
Since the collaboration was announced, it’s been revealed that the mountain print was inspired by a Ralph Lauren Polo print. According to @dropsbyjay: “Former Supreme brand director Angelo Baque, who still consults for Supreme, hinted at using the design in 2014. Samples were made last November and the time is finally here.”
Within this collaboration, the best items are the t-shirt and the blanket. As we mentioned last week, a blanket is forever while a puffer only lasts for two or three seasons. Besides, the blanket is less expensive and in an emergency situation, you could wrap it around you like a coat whereas the puffer makes for a piss-poor jacket.
As for the rest of offerings, the nylon ditty bag ($48) is kind of cute and if you don’t have a beanie yet, the mohair one with the black, mini box logo ($48) works if you’re looking for low-key head coverage.
The online drop will occur on November 30, 2017 at 11:00 GMT for the European site and 11:00 EST for the U.S. site. Physical stores in New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris open at 11:00 local time. The collection goes live in Japan on December 2nd.
