As announced in October, Buffalo London officially has relaunched its mega-platform sneaker, a fave of both ’90s ravers and U.K. pop band The Spice Girls.
The brand’s first collection includes high and low versions of the brand’s famously bulky sneaker with both silhouettes offered in black or white.
The brand also plans to bring back the five-inch platform Hightower sneaker, and is also planning a holiday collaboration with Opening Ceremony.
According to WWD, the brand is now under the management of German shoe veterans Sven Voth and Mirko Ostendörfer, both of whom say they are committed to maintaining the shoe’s original, outsized silhouette. While originally made in Spain, the brand is now produced in Portugal.
“It’s a unisex product, with a slight focus on the women’s market,” said Alexandra Preusche, who handles the brand’s marketing.
Priced at $180 for low versions and $210 for high, the shoes are sized from 36-41 and are now available to purchase at Opening Ceremony, Browns and VFiles.
