Off White Ad Campaign Spring 2015

Designer Virgil Abloh released Off White‘s ad campaign for the Spring 2015 collection, titled “Moving Still” on his Instagram account yesterday. It was shot by Christina Paik and features Canadian model Dani Seitz. Alboh announced on Twitter yesterday that he will show his Autumn 2015 collection in Paris on February 22nd. On the presentation, he added in the tweet, “For those kids that they never let into fashion shows I’m working on something.” Good for Alboh for being mindful about inclusivity. It will be interesting to see what he works out.

A Look at the A Ma Manière x Converse Chuck Taylor "While You Were Sleeping" 70 All Stars

The exclusive friends-and-family edition of the sneakers was gifted to attendees of A Ma Manière's dinner celebration for the While You Were Sleeping film premiere, held in London on December 12th.

Public showtimes of the Turner brothers-directed film will take place at CineLounge Sunset in Los Angeles, CA, from December 18–25.

Tickets are available through the CineLounge Sunset box office website.

Boston-based retailer CNCPTS taps into the artistr

Boston-based retailer CNCPTS taps into the artistry of Champagne making with its latest collab, the New Balance 740 “Saignée.” Inspired by the niche Champagne-making process known as Rosé de Saignée.

Speaking about the release, CNCPTS Creative Director Deon Point explains, "We were really inspired by the combination of warm and cool tones in the color palette of a bottle of rosé Champagne. The season is filled with celebration and no shortage of Champagne being poured, so for us, we wanted to bring that same vibrant spirit and mix of details to the design of the 740."

The CNCPTS x New Balance 740 "Saignée" drop Friday, Dec. 13 at 11AM EST on CNCPTS' site. In-store raffles (Boston, NYC, Miami) open Dec. 11 at noon EST.

Off-White celebrates the bond between its late fou

Off-White celebrates the bond between its late founder Virgil Abloh and Bstroy founders Brick Owens and Dieter “Du” Grams with its latest “Out Of Office” sneaker collaboration.

The design was sparked by an organic exchange of ideas in a group thread between Du, Brick, and Virgil. True to form, Virgil replied to a shared concept by screenshotting the image and marking it up with finger-drawn sketches, including an arrow pointing to Du’s 40th anniversary Porsche 911. That arrow became the muse for transforming the sneaker’s signature leather arrow into a raw, hand-drawn motif.

The two sneaker colorways are now available on the Off-White website and if you're in New York check out the launch event happening at the Mercer street store this evening. Last slide for event deets!

Cultural icon, writer and poet Nikki Giovanni, bor

Cultural icon, writer and poet Nikki Giovanni, born Yolande Cornelia Giovanni Jr., passed away on December 9, 2024, at 81, following her third cancer diagnosis, according to a statement from friend and author Renée Watson, as reported by NPR.

Even in her final days, Giovanni remained devoted to complete her final book of poetry, The Last Book, set for release next year.
