Beyoncé is featured on the cover of Flaunt magazine’s “Califuk” issues, which includes a mostly black and white editorial shot by Robin Harper and styled by Zerina Akers. Probably the most amazing aspect of the feature is that Beyonce participated in a word-play game of sorts, for which Flaunt provided words and the singer hand-wrote one-word responses. It matters because much has been made in the press as of late of her unwillingness to participate in interviews (which we analyzed here). If you check out her answers, they show a witty/thoughtful side of Bey we don’t often see revealed, with favorites including “over used” in response to the word iconic (we agree), “middle finger” to competition (that cocky side lol) and best of all “polluted” to social media (oh god, yes).
