Founded by sisters Meriem and Zahra Bennani, fashion label JNOUN’s fall collection, titled “Joteya,” (marketplace) was inspired by the bustling street markets of Barat, Morocco, where “globalized products meet traditional shops.” In the “joteya” the “souk” or market is a visually intense place world where brands meet knockoffs, technology and tradition.
Offering include solid-colored tops featured over-sized Arabic words, plus twill jackets and bottoms, printed with rows of bold red, black and Arabic script graphics that speak to the movement and energy of a street market.
The Joteya collection is now available to purchase at jnoun-studio.com.
