Meat and potatoes t-shirt and underwear company Fruit of the Loom is ready for its upgrade, announcing plans for a collaboration with Belgian designer Cedric Carlier, a pairing that was revealed during the Belgian designer’s spring 2018 menswear presentation this week in Paris.
Charlier remixed the classic tee by adding pockets, seams and patchwork details to give an edge to the no frills basic tee and created a cool video campaign with a diverse set of street casted models you can see below.
“It ’s timeless piece that gets better with age,” said Carlier in an interview with Vogue. “There’s a cool factor without losing that heritage feel.”
The Fruit of Loom and Cedric Charlier collaboration will be available on November 24, 2017, available as a single item or packaged a la Fruit of the Loom in a three pack.
