A First Look At Coco Beach, Chanel’s Chic New Swimwear Label

April 24, 2018. Leave a Comment

Chanel recently announced plans to launch a dedicated swimwear line called Coco Beach as well as an outdoor sport line called Coco Neige.

Today the luxury label provided its first glimpse of the swimwear line on Instagram stories, showing a maillot silhouette with a plunging neckline and neck tie.

More than just swimsuits, the Coco Beach line will also include bikinis,  terry cloth beach cover-ups, denim pieces, bags and espadrilles. And while there was no sign of any logos on the swimsuits, the line is said to be chock full of the famed double-c as well as other signature Chanel motifs.

The label will show its resort collection in Paris at the Grand Palais on May 3, 2018 so perhaps more of the beach line will be shown at that time.

The Coco Beach line will be carried at 26 stores, beginning in June. The Coco Neige collection will be available in July and August.

When we raised the idea of having a marching band, we wanted the energy, spirit, and sound.I really wanted to reach out and see if there was any possibility that we could make it happen. I am glad that we did.”
