Rihanna has never been one to hold controversial topics at arm’s length. She’s known for pushing her followers to vote and not long ago let it be known she wouldn’t perform at the NFL’s Super Bowl event as show of solidarity with quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Yesterday (November 25, 2018) she stepped up in response to new that U.S. border agents had fired tear gas at members of a Central American migrant caravan who had rushed the fencing on September 25, 2018.
On Instagram, Rihanna screen shot and published a tweet by @chrisshermanAP that read: “US Border Patrol has just launched tear gas into Mexico. Breeze carrying it hundreds of yards. Parents running away with choking toddlers. #migrantcaravan”
In the caption, Rihanna labeled the action with a single yet accurate description: “terrorism.”
Rihanna is known for have a very soft spot for children and knowing there were babies having to deal with the fall out of tear gas probably was more than her heart could handle.
