Houston-native rapper Megan Thee Stallion follows up on the release of her debut album, Good News, with the launch of an extensive collection of merch comprising of hoodies, t-shirts, swimsuits, posters and more.
One of the more unusual items is a full body statue of the Houston Hottie, as created by David Weeks, an artist based in the borough of Queens. Made of molded resin with a mirror chrome, plate finish, Megan thee Stallion’s “Body” statue stands 14-inches tall.
The statue is packaged in a doll box whose newsprint graphic is the same as the one used for the album art. As well, the back of the box reads “Hot Girl Facts” under which are Megan’s music projects leading up to her debut album: “Savage,” “Tina Snow,” “Suga” and “Hot Girl.”
Known for his designer skate deck art, Weeks recently made a big splash back in when he unveiled a statue of Kanye West at Sneakertopia in Culver City, back in October 2020.
Limited to a run of 100, the “Body” statue is priced at $149 and is available to pre-order on megantheestallion.com.
