Los Angeles-based Equihua is bringing cultural storytelling to the gridiron with its NFL collaboration titled Heirlooms for the Devoted. Rooted in founder Brenda Equihua’s family affinity for sports and football, the capsule collection features cobija-inspired jackets, enamel bamboo hoops, retro tees, and sport mesh scrunchies. The team selection includes the Raiders, Rams, Chargers, 49ers, Dolphins, Bears, Cardinals, Texans and Packers.
In a press release about the collection, Equihua shared, “As a Latina woman in fashion and now sports, this project means a lot. It is rooted in culture, memory, and representation, and it is the first time something like these jackets and the storytelling behind them has existed in this space. It is a magical story about preservation, culture, imagination, and sport. A true story told in the way we are known for, where reality and imagination meet.”
Priced from $50-$95 and sized from S-3XL, Equihua and NFL’s collection launches in late October 2025 on equihua.us, nflshop.com, fanatics.com and at select stadiums
