Gucci, as masterfully led into the light by still newish (appointed January 2015) designer Alessandro Michele, as promised showed a merged collection earlier today in Milan, featuring looks for men and women on the same runway. Michele’s design approach has been widely lauded and embraced so at this point in time, he doesn’t need to do much more than continue to expand on and develop his everything is everything thesis. For spring, we’re charmed that he once again shouted out the street, this time with the embrace of the Old English font trend, though the piece de resistance item has to be the white fur with an Asian-inspired Koi graphic. It is in a word, divine.
