Known for its statement making sunglasses, Grey Ant’s spring 2017 eyewear line was an instant hit. One of the more sought after silhouettes, the “Yesway,” a slick square adaptation of an over-sized aviator silhouette featuring horn and silver details (and prominently worn by Khloe Kardashian), sold out upon arrival.
Praise the fashion gods, the brand has announced that everyone who missed out the first go round, is getting a second chance with a June restock.
While Grey Ant is known for its eyewear, it was initially founded by Grant Krajecki as an apparel line in 1998. It made the crossover to eyewear in 2011, at which time the brand moved its operations to New York and brought on Natalie Levy as a partner.
As one of the first labels to partake in the CFDA incubator class of 2011, the brand’s longevity can be attributed to its focus on innovation and individuality.
