Providing evidence that Adidas still very much believes in a future with Reebok, the brand has brought on pop star Ariana Grande as an ambassador, a roster that already includes top model Gigi Hadid.
According to WWD, Grande’s partnership with Reebok is slated to last one year, more abbreviated than typical athletic brand partnerships, which tend to be set for two-three years.
Reebok has already been the beneficiary of Grande’s 113 million followers on Instagram where she made the announcement about her role on the feed. “Confidence, self belief and self expression. I am proud to partner with Reebok who has the same ideals and beliefs as me and that I hope to instill in my babes,” she wrote on Instagram.
Shot by photographer Alfredo Flores in Melbourne, Australia while on her “Dangerous Woman” tour, Grande wore an over size white Reebok sweatshirt and sneakers.
Grande will next perform on September 16, 2017 in Singapore, followed by stops Taiwan and Hong Kong. One of the big benefits of signing Grande is her level of popularity in Asian countries, in particular Japan where Grande has performed frequently and is enamored enough with the culture that she is studying the language.
