Ebony gives loves to four of the music industry’s biggest icons with May covers featuring singular word taglines meant to define each artist’s best quality: Beyonce (“Diva”), Jay-Z (“Mogul”), Kanye West (‘Poet) and Rihanna (“Rebel”). All four artists circulate in a very tight orbit, with West and Rihanna both managed by Roc Nation, a firm headed by Jay-Z, who is very famously wedded to Beyonce.
