Y-3, a label that is the result of an ongoing collaboration between Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas, has published its media campaign for Autumn 2014. Photographed by Cedric Buchet, the theme is the superhero and the push and pull of the heroine versus the villain. Speaking on the Autumn collection, Yamamoto comments,
“The collection pays homage to the couturiers of the 60’s. I wanted to infuse this spirit into it. I was also thinking of superheroes and the kind of clothes they wear. Cut for an active and fighting life style. So I brought these two worlds together.”
