Adidas Originals today released the looks for its latest Rita Ora collaboration. Called the black collection, the dark color theme is a departure from the bright colors and prints that have marked its recent collections and collaborations and also the bright and funky looks Ora herself is known for.
That said, there is more to the offerings than the color black. Many of the garments are punched up with embroidered sport logos, letters and numbers, and the shoes feature a texture-adding basket weave. There is also a gender-neutral feel to the collection with a lot of the pieces featuring more generous cuts than is typical for a woman’s collection.
We like the transparent nylon jackets best, just because see-through, nylon jackets are an au courant street sport theme we happen to be fond of at the moment, but also because Adidas has taken the look up a notch with embroidered patches.
