Apple’s fall launch event took place yesterday (September 9, 2014) at its Cupertino, California headquarters and the biggest moment without doubt was the official debut of the Apple Watch or iWatch as many are choosing to call it.
Apple also seeded a plethora of influencers with their own watches, many of which were revealed on various social media platforms yesterday.
One thing we can say from the roll out is that Apple learned some things from Nike when it comes to seeding. Case in point, this image is from the Instagram feed of Sarah Colette, who received a watch along with Franca Sozzani, editor in chief of Vogue Italia and Oliver Zahm, founder of Purple magazine.
With a starting price of $330, look for the watch to launch in early 2019.
