U.K. model Jourdan Dunn lands the cover of i-D magazine’s Summer 2015 issues with alternate issues featuring model Lara Stone, Kate Moss, Freja Beha, Daria Werbowy, Edie Campbell, Natalie Westling, Stella Tennant and more for a total of 18 models, a mega issue meant to celebrate’s i-D magazine’s 35 years covering the fashion business. Photographer Alasdair McLellan is responsible for shooting the entire issue, including the cover shots, for which each model is shot flashing the magazine’s signature wink.
The bountiful issue no doubt reflects the magazine’s new owner, Vice Media, which acquired i-D from its founders Terry and Tricia Jones in 2012. Growth is very much on Vice’s agenda and in 2013, the publication relaunched its web site with a focus on fashion and video content and recently announced it will expand its video and editorial teams in New York and also has plans to open offices in Asia.
