Adidas Originals classic Superstar and Stan Smith have been a house on fire this year with sizes of the the original colorways just now being restocked at retailers. Capitalizing on the momentum, Adidas has launched a mid version of the Stan Smith, which since since its launch in 1971 has always been sold as a low. Currently there are three versions, the original white shoe with a green tab, a white shoe with a snake tab and a black shoe with a snake skin tab.
Purists likely will have nothing to do with the shoe, not only because it’s a modification of a classic shoe but also because its low silhouette is rooted in its function as a tennis shoe. That’s okay though, plenty of folks will be over this mid, a fresh update that adds some energy to a timeless classic. Now on Adidas Originals online store in sizes 5-14.
