The seed was probably started for us earlier this year at the Liberty Fairs show in New York where all the coolest fashion cats were wearing vintage loafers with their rolled up loose-fitting khakis. Clearly some fashion vibe is in the air because quite a few prominent designers included a high-heeled loafer among their fall shoe offerings. The look is classic enough that you can find it offered by a wide range of brands, not necessarily just designer. To keep the look forward and to avoid looking too corporate, look for silhouettes in ANY color other than black.
