You know this year is going to be full of Kardashian-referencing Halloween costumes, but it’s not likely anyone is going to top fashion stylist Charmaine Daudu’s take on North West, recreating her oft-photographed ballerina look, honing in on the day she topped her tutu with a white Balmain jacket and proceeded to light up social media.
Here’s what Daudu had to say about the costume: “Well there is no denying that little miss North West, the child of Kim Kardashian West & Kanye West, has style for days. This featured look is super cute and it appears in many memes surfacing the internet because of the cute faces and gestures she made while wearing it. I figured it would be fun to recreate this look for those that want to think outside the box a bit for their Halloween costume.”
In the video, Charmsie flashes her creativity providing a step by step of how the costume was put together, transforming a regular pair of shoes into ballet slippers and swapping out buttons on the blazer she bought at Goodwill. She also did a perfect job on hair and makeup, with bun and baby hair all exactly like Nori’s. And what brings it all together is the Daudu looks like she could be a member of the Kardashian family. For good measure, she includes her camera shy boyfriend to play the role of Kanye West.
