Santigold after a long time out of the public eye is back on the scene with a new single, “Can’t Get Enough of Myself” along with the announcement of a new album called 99¢, her first since 2012’s Master of My Make Believe. The album art (shot by Haruhiko Kawaguchi) and title reflect Santigold’s belief that “everything is packaged. People’s lives, persona, everything, is deliberate, and mediated. It can be dark and haunting and tricky, and freak us out, but it can be also be silly and fun and we can learn to play with it.” Via Pitchfork.
