H&M‘s loftier chain, & Other Stories, is creating a bit of a stir with the images for a line of lingerie featuring three womene, Helin Honung, Kelsey Lu McJunkins and Ida Jagerfelt, who are by any standard attractive, but whose main career isn’t modeling. The bigger deal–because let’s be real size-wise they’re all model thin–is that there is minimal retouching of the images, allowing freckles, tattoos, scars and hairy underarms to exist loud and proud. This has been a bit of a trend as of late with companies like Lane Bryant choosing models whose body types are more in line with the average women.
The lingerie itself is pretty standard fare so bonus points to & Other Stories for revealing women in a less Photoshopped way while at the same time creating buzz that enables it to standout from the pack. All the featured items are now available, ranging in price from $12-$55 on Stories.com.
