Building on his “Nude for All” line of heels, Christian Louboutin has launched a range of “Solasofina” ballerina flats also offered in a full spectrum of beiges, taupes and browns. The concept is a push back on fashion industry’s use of “nude” to describe beige-colored leather accessories, implying white skin is the standard. Tying together the spectrum concept along with the silhouette, campaign images for the shoes feature ballerinas, whose skin colors and outfits range from beige to brown.
