Designed by Laduma Ngxokolo, Maxhosa by Laduma is a chic knitwear brand rooted in the heritage of the Xhosa people of South Africa. Known as the “Red Blanket People,” the Xhosa are known for their appreciation for and skilled use of color in their designs. Ngxokolo launched his line in 2011 and has since won several awards, including the Design Indaba Most Beautiful Object in South Africa award in 2016.
