Venezuelen jewelry designer Monica Sordo‘s latest collection is titled “Silencio,” a title that evokes a bold and in charge woman, much like her designs. The daughter of an industrial designer, Sordo’s designs are rooted in memories of time spent in her father’s workshop, but just as much, a wish to honor women unafraid to live their lives against the grain. Hand made by artisans in her native Caracas of gold-plated bronze, every piece of Silencio is capable of making quite the statement.
