Designer Tory Burch had Jamaica and Lauryn Hill. on her mind for resort 2017, in the case of the island, it was memories of time spent vacationing with her grandmother, specifically at Round Hill resort. Hill vis-a-vis the father of her children, Rowan Marley, is also connected to Jamaica, though for Burch the acquaintance was made in Paris, where the singer performed at a store opening last summer.
Burch describes Hill’s look as epitomizing “cool elegance,” a positive nod Ms. Hill will surely be happy to hear after an onslaught of criticism directed at her after (yet another) late concert start in Atlanta last month.
