In part three of Married to the Mob founder Leah McSweeney’s interview (watch part one and part two), she kicked off the interview discussing how her views on feminism have changed since she had a daughter, explaining while she once thought otherwise, she no longer views putting up naked pictures on Instagram a la Kim Kardashian as a form of female empowerment.
Discussing whether bullying that takes place online is real, McSweeney maintained it is, saying she herself has dealt with incidents, including someone threatening her daughter. She added that for the current generation their lives are so centered around the internet that the concept of logging off doesn’t exist.
She also discussed her new podcast, “Improper Etiquette,” which she co-hosts with Hot 97’s Laura Stylez.
