After popping up online in the midst of a drag race with A$AP Rocky and Tyler the Creator (video below), Frank Ocean turned himself back over to his fans with a visual album titled Endless (watch/listen and see track list below), which he first streamed on his site, BoysDontCry.com. The album was then made available for purchase on Apple Music’s streaming service. (And btw, remember that song snippet that leaked a while back? Well, it’s featured on this album.)
The visual draws from the same mysterious, black and white video he’s been showing on his site, showing him in an industrial space, working and building. Who directed the video is not clear, some outlets are saying Francisco Soriano, others are crediting Ocean.
Rolling Stone has reported that the visual album will be followed this weekend by another album, though the title is not known, apparently Boys Don’t Cry has been ditched.
For details on what went into the album, check out Genius‘s video below; the lyrics can be found here.
