While published in very limited quantities, details from Frank Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry magazine have begun to leak out and, praise the Virgo gods, the always fanatically-detailed Genius has been documenting every scrap it can get its hands on, including Kanye West’s ode to McDonald’s french fries, plus Ocean’s poem titled “Boyfriend.”
The site also reproduced Ocean’s list of favorite movies and songs, which a kind soul (Dean Gouskos to be exact) reproduced with a Spotify playlist (embedded below) for everyone’s listening pleasure. The list includes all but four songs, which weren’t available on Spotify, though hey, much luck getting through the 20-minute-long #zzzzzzz “Für Alina No. 1” song.
Side note, the magazine could possibly see wider distribution, at least that is what Ocean’s mother, Katonya Breaux, appears to be hinting.
