Kehlani has stayed very busy this summer, starting last month when she released two singles, “CRZY” and “Distraction.” She also jumped on Belly’s video for “You,” (below) which features a vocal contribution. Adding onto her efforts, Kehanli has released a single titled “Gangsta,” which will be included on the soundtrack for the David Ayer-directed film Suicide Squad. Kehlani got an early look at the film and has said Harley Quinn (shown above) as played by Margot Robbie is her favorite character.
As for Kehlani’s personal life, TMZ has reported the younger singer met up with her NBA ex, Kyrie Irving, a couple days back while both were in Chicago, said to me the first time they have spent time together since their dramatic break up in March of this year. A Kehlani rep was quick to let TMZ know that the two are “only friends,” noting, “they wanted to meet up face to face and make peace.”
