You can credit Brittany Byrd’s initial brush with fame to her relationship with Philly rapper Lil Uzi Vert, in particular her appearance as the Bonnie to his Clyde in his “Money Longer” video from earlier this summer.
But what’s kept Byrd in the conversation is what she herself brings to the table. Charismatic and rock-star-ish in her own chillaxed Cali-girl way, Byrd was a high school basketball player who almost took a D1 scholarship to play ball in her home state, but instead veered right and landed in New York City. Known for her ever-evolving hair color choices and Los-Angeles-kissed boho street style, she’s now in her final year of studies at Parsons and in addition to putting time in as a stylist, is in the final stages of launching a lifestyle brand.
To ring in the fall, Snobette linked with talented team MOSES and tapped Byrd for an editorial that celebrates the ever-morphing look defined as city sport. In shooting Byrd’s first official fashion editorial, we discovered not just the perfect muse for our story, but a budding star.
