Known for creating glamour with an edge, designer Fausto Puglisi’s spring 2017 presentation featured a beautiful flower print story intermixed with punk-inspired graphics and accessories like black leather belts highlighted with gold hardware, and chic ruffled footwear.
The casting of the runway featured a range of body types, races, gender and ages but also the inclusion of tattooed models, reinforcing the glamorous badass femme that is Puglisi’s muse.
Puglisi’s reputation for bold designs have led him to some noteworthy design projects including Superbowl half time show costumes for Nicki Minaj and M.I.A in 2012, as well as the role of creative director for Ungaro in 2013.
