As part of her bounce back, Kehlani in July released the single “CRZY,” an answer to the chatter surrounding her break up with NBA player Kyrie Irving that lead to an attempted suicide. The Oakland singer has now released a Benny-Boon-directed visual for the single, in which Kehlani is sporting short black locks and a set of gold grills, surrounded by her besties, who include model-of-the-moment Slick Woods.
Produced by Blue June and Brittany Chi Coney, “CRZY” is said to be from her debut album, which as of now doesn’t have an official launch date. For our New York readers who would like to see Kehlani live, she’s opening for Lauryn Hill at Radio City Music Hall on October 13th.
