U.K. artist Gabi’el aka Gabriella Chering landed on our radar a couple weeks back when she was featured in G-Star‘s cool campaign featuring multiple female influencers. Check out her latest single “Pop That [Pussy],” which follows the release of her second EP, “7VNTEEN01” earlier this year. With production credits fom Sampl and Jay Jay Musika, the single also features Monique Lawrence and Ms Banks.
While new to us, Gabi’el has been laying down a foundation in the industry since the age of four. Raised in North London’s council estate (England’s fancy-pants term for the projects), Gabi’el has been singing and dancing since the age of four. She was recruited to join a pop group called Juvenilez in 2011 and when the group broke up four years later began working on her solo career.
“Pop That” will soon receive a visual and will also be featured on her upcoming EP, titled “Code of Misconduct,” set for a spring 2017 launch. Check back soon for both!
