Brooklyn rapper Leaf has released a new single titled “Plate,” an effort that follows “Nada” a single and video featuring Lil Yachty. Staying true to her belief in women’s strength through unity, about the single, Leaf wrote, “‘Plate’ is very simple. The lyrics say it all: ‘all my b*tches eatin’ gettin’ cake.’ It’s a song about being the breadwinner and sharing it with your loved ones.”
The single is a warm up for the Fool’s Gold Records-singed artist, who has a album slated to release in January 2017, titled Trinity.
