People haven’t become so jaded that they can’t enjoy an against-all odds love story. The world last night responded in delight to the sight of Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane (aka Radric Delantic Davis) proposing to his girlfriend, Keyshia Ka’oir, at last nights Atlanta Hawks game.
The couple was first shown on camera during the kiss cam portion of the game, and instead of a smooch, Gucci proposed (standing) with what is said to be a 25 carat diamond ring. The moment was elevated by Ka’oir’s team-color appropriate outfit, a fun red Alexander McQueen fur that coordinated with her red boots and red hair. Her white stiletto manicure was popping as well.
Everyone must have been in on the plot and the plan because following the proposal, the Hawks mascot gave Ka’oir a bouquet of red roses and shook Mane’s hand. (And watch how the two gentleman sitting behind Mane stand when he proposes, turning into instant protectors of the bling.)
Ka’oir and Mane have been dating for about seven years and it’s often been mentioned that she has stuck by him through thick and thin, including a three year prison stint. When he was released in May, she was the one to break the news, and since being released, the two have been much more open about their relationship.
