Atlanta rapper 21 Savage has has laid down the foundation for what is looking like a breakout 2017 as he closes the books on the year with a visual for his popular single “X” (which was on the bubble in our Snobby awards top ten singles list) featured on his and Metro Boomin’s July platinum EP, Savage Mode.
The video includes fellow Atlanta rapper Future, who is looking very fashionable in an over-sized Raf Simons sweater (from the label’s fall 2016 runway) paired with Timberland six-inch wheat boots, which he makes clear a woman didn’t choose for him.
The video is a fairly generic rap video, fill to the brim with bikini and thong-clad, drop-dead gorgeous women, but then again it is about “stuntin’ on that ex” so to some degree it makes sense.
