If you are still on the hunt for the Puma by Fenty velvet creepers and you’ve checked all of the retailers listed below and come up empty-handed, you can find pairs at stadiumgoods.com in New York. This is a resell business (and a reputable one) so be prepared to pay a premium.
Read the original story below:
Tomorrow, December 8th, Puma and Rihanna will launch a trio of their award-winning creepers, offered for the first time with a festive velvet upper. A global launch, the shoe will be offered in three colors: “Royal Purple,” “Glacial Grey” and “Black.”
Priced at U.S. $150, they will be offered up to a woman’s size 10 though some retailers will have extended sizing, similar to prior launches. If they’re the same as prior launches, these creepers run very true to size. For our readers in the United States, the shoes officially will go live at 10:00 AM EST for bigger retailers, though we’re already seeing a U.K. retailer, thesolesupplier.com, selling them at 11:00 PM GMT on December 7th, so be on the lookout for early sellers.
We are hearing from retailers that they’ve received a lot of pairs of the three shoes, more than prior creeper launches. They also think the “Royal Purple” aka burgundy will be the first to sell out, though Susan Boyle of Rime in New York thinks “Glacial Grey” will be the sleeper.
The shoes of course will be sold at Puma stores and puma.com, but given that site will be hit with the most traffic, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to simultaneously hit up Foot Locker’s wome’s site, six02.com, because it will have the most pairs after Puma.
Below is a partial list of retailers that have stocked prior Puma x Fenty launches, and we think they will have the velvet creepers as well. Nothing is guaranteed though and with each launch, it seems there are some retailers who are added and some who are subtracted. As well, some sneaker stores don’t have an etail option and thus can only be purchased in-store. We’re highlighting Rime at the top of the list we know for a fact it has shoes AND because it’s a woman-owned sneaker boutique, one of the very few!
Good luck!
