After rumors circulated that Jennifer Lopez had cancelled a New Year’s Eve appearance in Miami to be with Drake, the Toronto rapper made the ultimate claim last night, posting up an image of himself booed up with Jenny from the Bronx, who posted the exact same image to her feed. (Who snapped it is what we want to know!)
If you’re paying attention to pop culture, you know that it was just this fall that Drake was playing footsie with Rihanna. They even got matching shark tattoos. Their relationship went south sometime in October, made official when Rihanna unfollowed Drake on Instagram.
The complicating factor is that Lopez and Rihanna are industry buddies. Rihanna even gifted Lopez with a pair of her collaborative Manolo Blahnik shoes, and Lopez wore them in a video as a show of support. Well, that friendship may be over because it appears that sometime over the weekend, Rihanna tapped out of Lopez’s Instagram feed. Do girl code rules apply with industry friends? Apparently in Rihanna’s mind they do.
