Attempting to keep up with every update on the status of Kanye West (and his marriage) since he was hospitalized is not something we are capable of doing. It’s a lot, like a lot, a lot! However, West making his first public appearance is a milestone worthy of coverage. The singer was spotted earlier today at the MOCA Pacific Design Center in Hollywood, California, checking out a Rick Owens furniture exhibit. While making various appearances, those who are close to West and his wife, Kim Kardashian, have been asked about how both are doing.
In a visit to Watch What Happens, singer John Legend was asked by host Andy Cohen about West’s latest status, and Legend (who is SO calm!) said, “We’re friends of him and we want him to be well and do the things he loves to do.” Legend also added that it’s been “tough” for Kim Kardashian since she was robbed in Paris, and added, “We’re rooting for them to get better.”
In an appearance on Hot 97 this morning, Pharrell Williams also was asked by host Ebro Darden about West’s health. “Oh I’ve texted him already. He knows my sentiments. I think everything should just, you know, we all should be just wishing people well. We need it and there’s strength in numbers and with all this division out here in this country. They’re beating us.”
