Yesterday in a peak troll moment, Kanye West disappointed the hell out of anyone who’s ever been a fan of his when he popped up in New York to meet with president elect Donald Trump. After the meeting, West wrote in a series of tweets that he thought he could better effect change if he had a relationship with Trump.
Several celebrities have already responded, including John Legend, Wendy Williams and A$AP Ferg. Cardi B also weighed in on West’s general struggles in a Fadar interview that appears to have taken place before yesterday’s meeting. Check out their responses below.
John Legend: Described the meeting as a publicity stunt. Said Legend, “I don’t think it’s impossible to talk to him about issues, but I won’t be used as a publicity stunt and I think Kanye was a publicity stunt, and I’m disappointed with Kanye that he says he would have voted for Trump.”

Wendy Williams: At (16:40) she spoke about the meeting, but sidestepped having an opinion and instead focused on the rumor that West had come to New York to find a psychiatrist. Williams does believe he will perform at the inauguration and “go left.”
Cardi B: Reacting to his hospitalization, Cardi said West is conceited but not a bad person and like all celebrities struggles with the stress of having himself and his loved ones attacked on the internet all day. “I never saw him do anything bad to people,” said Cardi.
