Tom Ford visited “The View” in large port to discuss his recently-released film Nocturnal Animals, but as always he included some fun quotables.
The conversation kick off with a discussing on how Jay Z came to write the song “Tom Ford” featured on his album Magna Carta Holy Grail.
On Melania, Ford said he had been asked to dress her years ago and declined because “she’s not my image.”
Ford said he voted for Hillary Clinton and added, “I’m very sad and disappointed she’s not in office,” but noted that even if Clinton had won, she shouldn’t wear his clothes because “they’re too expensive.” He admitted he once dressed Michelle Obama when she was visiting the Queen at Buckingham Palance. “I thought that was appropriate because I live in London.”
In speaking on his son, Alexander John Buckley Ford, the designer said “He’s never been photographed, “he has chores, he gets an allowance, he knows how to even load the dishwasher at this point. Those things are important.”
