Looking positively glowing, model great Naomi Campbell stopped in at Wendy Williams yesterday to discuss her role on Lee Daniels’ new musical TV show, “Star.” Wearing a stunning pair of Givenchy heels, Campbell discussed her enduring friendship with model Kate Moss, and talked about going diving for New Year. She also spoke about the passing of George Michael and her role in his video, “Freedom.” Said Campbell, “I’m losing more friends and that’s really difficult to deal with and I try to celebrate them and deal with it the best way I can.”
She went on to discuss Kim Kardashian, who she described as “a very sweet person.” The model stunned Williams when (07:24) she revealed she, too, had been held up at gunpoint in Paris. “In 2012 I was attacked in Paris. They followed me from the airport. They attacked me. They opened my car door and said, ‘Naomi Campbell, we’re going to kill you,'” said Campbell.
The robbery took place in front of the boutique and home of Azzedine Alaïa’s, who she was going to visit for Thanksgiving. The details of how Campbell managed to escape aren’t clear, but she said the driver was in on the heist and in the moment she chose to fight to keep her bag. She credited Alaïa with coming out and saving her though the scrum caused enough injury that she spent some time in a wheelchair.
“It’s a whole ring that’s been happening for a few years now. I very much sympathize with her and I felt for her right away. I hated hearing stories that it wasn’t true. And it’s happened to a few other people, but it’s not for me to say,” added Campbell.
Campbell went on to sit with Williams for her “Hot Seat” segment and answered questions about the number of pictures she has hanging up in her room, the craziest rumor she’s ever heard about herself, the most annoying thing a man can do in the bedroom and her relationship with Sean Combs.
