Rumors have been swirling that Nicki Minaj had broken up sometime during the holidays with her boyfriend, Meek Mill, and today she confirmed the news in a tweet.
“To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year. Love u🎀,” wrote Minaj.

The two had been taking sub-shots at each other throughout November and December on Instagram, and on New Year’s they both performed in Miami, but were never spotted together either before or after the event.
It’s not clear when the two first began dating officially, but in early 2013 Minaj and Mill began appearing in each other’s Instagram photos together, and Minaj has said that her album, The Pinkprint, was written in part about her burgeoning relationship with Mill.
