This past year has been all about setting the table for U.K. singer/songwriter Sampha, who was featured on music released by heavy hitters including Kanye West, Frank Ocean and Solange Knowles. Working with artists who are widely respected for their work and also possess huge followings has been the perfect foundation to build up lots of buzz around his debut album, Process, a deeply soulful project.
Released through London record label Young Turks, the album made its official debut at midnight on February 3rd (though was leaked a few weeks prior) and includes three previously-released singles: “Timmy’s Prayer,” “Blood On Me” and “(No One Knows Me) Like the Piano.”
Sampha will support the album with a tour, which kicks off February 6th in Chicago.
The album is now available on iTunes and can also be streamed on Spotify. He also just released two videos for the single “(No One Knows Me) Like the Piano” and you can watch them both below.
