It’s been a year since Seoul-based artist Minzy’s contract with 2NE1 ended, and when that event occurred, she was the first in the group to let it be known she was moving on as a solo artist.
Today as promised, she dropped her debut project, a “mini-album” titiled “Uno,” a title that very neatly spells out her solo status. The six-song effort includes features by Korean American rapper Flowsik and also includes production by The Stereotypes, a production team that has written for Danity Kane, Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars.
The project was kicked off through a one-hour showcase today (April 17, 2017) at Shinhan Card Live Hall in Seoul. And for fans who’ve missed seeing Minzy in action, the full visual for “Ni Na No” was also released today and she flashes lots of style and her signature smooth dance moves.
