A love of vintage is hardly a new trend among streetwear lovers. One could point to the ongoing affair many have with Polo as evidence that this trend is not only not new, but predates the existence of streetwear. That said, what’s popular in the world of vintage ebbs and flows just like any fashion trend, and at the moment there are no hotter items than ’90s pieces featuring all-over logos via luxury labels Gucci, Fendi and Dior.
The trend hasn’t been lost on the labels themselves (in fact, one could argue Gucci’s designer Alessandro Michelle helped fan the flames), all of which are once again offering items featuring all-over logos.
We’ve seen SZA lead the way on this trend, and now Galore magazine has tapped into it with an editorial featuring the lovely and talented r&b singer Kehlani. Photographed by Amber Asaly, stylist Gabriel Held used pieces from his appointment-only shop, Gabriel Held Vintage, to create an editorial themed almost entirely on vintage pieces.
The look de de résistance is definitely the pink, all-over Dior logo bucket hat and knit dress, but the coordinated Todd Oldham leopard denim set is also to die for.
